An orphanage for girls is run in Bakeswar with 200 girls. Near it there are a surgery and a dentist’s surgery. 95 native clerks are occupied in order for the needs of the charity work to be covered; every now and then volunteers from all over the world help, too.

There are 8 surgeries which offer free treatment
Food is given to 2000 families weekly (rice, flour, soaps, soya, lentils, matches etc) and breakfast is given (milk, biscuits and vitamins) to 300 more poor children (the children of the rubbish) daily.
There are in potency:
5 elementary schools in which we offer free books and scholarships
1 technical school with 2 sections which welcomes hundreds of students to whom skills for a better life are offered.
1 school for blind children, as well as an eye-clinic, which is being equipped and are going to function in Autumn.
This school year more than 1000 children will study in the schools and the technical school of OMHKSEA in India.
Apart from these activities OMHKSEA covers other needs, too, as the financial support of widows and orphans, disabled and old people, the construction of small residences, the distribution of food, clothing, medicines and school stuff to all the regions. We make drillings to regions where there is no drinkable water. Also the missionary team covers expenses for medical operations and treatment of poor people. The new eye-clinic will be hope of life. In the region of Bengal there are 2.000.000 blind people.
